Default So Ive been thinking...

I think I have finally come to a solution to my problem for those that care...

I plan on buying a GS or RS eclipse for around 7-8 thousand and then purchase the Hahn Stage 2 turbo kit. This would put me right at my goal of a 13 sec quarter and still have the looks and daily drivability. From reading the website its sounds fairly dependable. I will be able to save on insurance but still have my turbo

Is there anything specific that I need to know? I know some people have gone this route on here so any help is appreciated.

Also about how much does the system cost? I tried to find it but couldnt and also where did you have it installed at. I would like to work with whoever does the install just so I can get experience you know?

Once again thanks.

If you go to 2GNT.com and use the search there, you'll come up with an assload of answers. As far as what you need to know, the kit itself was pretty straightforward install. I bought the Stage 1 kit for 2100 bucks and did the 'ghettofied' Stage 2 using a 1G sidemount. If you where to take into consideration the cost of gauges, stuff that needs to be replaced, and the 'ghettofied' Stage 2, I was looking at spending at least aroud 3K. That don't include getting a bigger exhaust. Me and a couple friends of mine, Fast420A and Skillionare on the board, did the install. A couple of things that you really need to replace from the kit is the Craptech FPR and those gay allen bolts for the manifold. Replace the FPR with the Vortech SFMU and use stock GS-T manifold bolts to replace the allen ones. Lemme know if you have any questions.

I would totally be up for a 1g but I cant find one in nice condition. I need a reliable car with fairly low miles. That is why I am looking at the 2G. If there was a 1G out there with say about 60k on it I would be all over it. But good lookin out and thanks

They exist.
