looking for a trouble code scanner that works on:

1. 95 cougar 3.8l - there's an a-l-d-l under the glove box that i'm told doesn't work on a v6.

and/or

2. 94 camaro 3.4l - the paper clip short of the a-l-d-l to blink the codes doesn't work on a v6.
