I knew this guy was a crook when he was selling a wrecked Acura CL (2004 I think) with a good title and a front clip for like $10k. I called him and told him I would buy them and fix them at my body shop. He was going to do the deal until I told him I was going to come look at the car/clip. At that point, he stopped answering his phone and would not return my calls. I guess he was hoping I would just send him the money w/o seeing the car.
