Resonant Engineering XXX 15' like new. better than JL
Resonant Engineering XXX 15. rated 1600w rms 2600w peak, but in ported inclosures can handle 2000-2400w rms daily with no problem. If you're familiar with brands like RE, Adire Audio, Treo, Adescent Audio, Digtial Designs, Sound Splinters, Sifoni, US Amps , Zapco and other companies that spend money and resources on quality instead of marketinglike Audiobling and JL (good quality, but better quality for as high a price JL charges.)
The XXX is very under rated and top quality SQL driver. If you know about RE Audio, then you know what this beast can do. XBL^2 motor structure gives it amazing quality while hitting 145dB-150dB, depending on install quality. i was doing high 140's though never got metered. probly 147-148 in my maxima. Someone on TR did 145dB off one of these and a hifonics BX1500D at ronnie seltzers car show a lil while back.
55 pound sub, looks sexy too. I'll get pics soon. It sounds as clean as any W7 i've heard and totaled demolishes them in output. I plan on switching to a XXX 12 and run 1800+ watts if things work out. Needs like 1500w+ to get it to wang to it's full potential. I never could have imagined how only one 15 could pound cleanly while pounding loud and LOW, this beast hits the harder and lower better than 3 JL 12w3v2's and 4 audiopipe 10's with the same power (audio pipes are audiobahn just not at a rip off price and less chrome.), and also completely out performed in SQ 4 kicker comp crv 15's with a 4400w mono ma audio amp, yet hit AS HARD.
Sealed they are not recommended more than 1200 watts due air pressure inside the sealed enclosure. With ported enclousures they can handle amazing power. I know people that run Orion 2500D daily to a single XXX 15.
Note: Ported boxes for these need better bracing than 3 inch wood screws and liquid nails. i know this.
This sub was bought used and reconned by resonant engineering 2 months ago and has just been barely broken in. i'd love to keep it since haveing after buying it and reconing it cost me just over $550 but the car it's in is going bye bye and its not fitting hitting int he next car. also the poorly branced box was broken up by the sub, too lasy to build another ported box for this car.
... my loss your gain. but it wont fit it my my next car. Also i wouldnt mind going to a XXX 12 since a 15 is almost too much for me i dont need as much output, You will NOT be dissappointed with the output of this sub. it kicks ass
For the time being im building a sealed box for it that i'll include with it if the buyer wants. that project will begin when i have a day off from work.

Very sexy sub...seems nobody around here appreciates good quality, though. I've had my two Treo TSX 12's for sale for a while now and no one has offered me anything near what they're worth.
