Looking for 1,000+ watt amp

You know whats funny none of these push what you guys say they do and none are 1ohm stable for over a minute ! id love to see you run one of them at 1ohm for as long as you think you can lol !!! only amps i know of that STAY one ohm stable and handle what they are rated at are MTX and Kicker SX and KX series. the Kicker KX1200.1 Pushes 1430w@1ohm stable all day. Same with MTX's.
How about this You tell me what Two Subs your Are trying to push and ill tell you what you ACTUALLY need and where to get it !

If you have the KKR 05DCVR15's They are 2 and 4 ohm Stable. Running 1ohm is a waste, run what they are designed for. Ok You need a Kicker KKR 04KX2500.1 Amp. Heres what youd do.
Wire The speakers in parellel. 8ohms+8ohms=4ohms 4ohms+4ohms=2ohms Amp Runs 2 ohms 2500watts that will put about 450 to each speaker the RMS of the CVR's are 500. best Setup for those. This Kicker Amp i know for a fact Will push about 200-250watts more than rated. They Under rate. The 1200.1 I have at work rated at 1430.1watts. This would be the best setup and would stop clipping and overheating. this will also reduce distortion. THD is lower as well this way. Your stuck at 1ohm load with Component Subs its safer and sounds better,And as far as i know Circuit City is one of the only Places that sale Kicker Retail.
You need to be looking for a 2500 watt amp not 1000. or you can Run 2x 04KX1200.1's @2ohms 2 speakers.
youd be looking at about 600-650 a sub they run about 1400watts on that amp. You can Link 2 1200.1's and youd run 2400.1 More Stable and Cleaner. But two 1200.1's would be great.
