Well theres a guy in NJ that already has a 20b with a T78 in one. Hes almost done with the whole swap.

 

its has somw what of a lag on the motor compaed to the third gen back seat is actually useable and i jus hope they come out w a factory turbo one sooon

 

I got the special edition Road and Track magazine just for the RX8 and they did feature a MazdaSpeed model that looked so beautiful I started crunching numbers again. They said that 300 bhp was a good estimation but they hope that number climbs. From what the article said the Renesis engine can be either Turbocharged OR Supercharged. They didn't give an dates but I would think 2005 would be a good guess especially if they plan on reintroducing the RX7 in 2006/7.

 

The problem ive heard is a few of the new manual cars werent putting down numbers as they should.. 255 hp to 180 @ the wheels? i wouldnt pay for drivetrain loss like that, my subaru doesnt lose that much! i doubt its drivetrain loss, its probably more like the Miata ordeal, claiming more than necessary...

RX 7 ~ nice - sick ass fast cars
RX 8 ~ bloated pig that hopes to recreate a market for older guys wanting to relive the 70's in a sports car that really isnt a sports car... the thing looks cool, but .... thats about all it does for me.
