Need RX7 Intake diameter info
For anyone that has the ability to measure this or possibly have the info somewhere. Im hunting the Inside diameter for the intake runner where the manifold bolts to the block. Im after the diameter of the stock casting in the 13b for both primary and secondary, both in the block itself and the LIM for both S4 and S5 NA and T2. I know its alot to ask, but if anyone knows any of these inner diameters, or where to find them.... if you could post them itd be alot of help. Thanks

Several reasons. where to start....
1. Over active imagination....
2. Over confidence in my ability to do something better than anyone else....
3. Internal quest for greatness.... which ties nicely to ....
4. The need for speed...... and....
5. The need for more speed.....
6. And we keep repeating reason 4 and 5 for a while......
100. Intake manifold designed for optimum "stock" NA power....
101. Same as above while incorporating various port timing....
102. I already figured out optimum exhaust setup for "stock" NA power...
103. reason 100 for turbo application....
104. does turbo application need specific designed intake?
105. Im super bored at work, and coming up with things to do that ISNT work related...
106. Quite a few people in this section have access to the above mentioned diameters... so i figured they might help me out?

i can get you all of the above within the next two days. do you want rew and re size also? and all you want is the height and width of the ports as if they were 2d? do you need depth too?

just the diameter of the hole the air flows through. Depth is irrelevant. no interest in rew or re. Just to be clear i am after the inner diameter of the lim (as seen in the pics) and the port area the lim bolts to.

These pictures are being used as a visual reference only! Thanks

Reason 1,2 and 3 is all the motivation you need
Reason 104. does turbo application need specific designed intake?
Here is a BIG tip...
Measure your intake manifold from throttle body (or velocity stacks) to the combustion chamber. That way you can have the perfect exhaust manifold or perfect power band.
Reason 105 will get you fired

As for 104 Im on track with you. However there is some discussion as to wether the scavenging and wave lengths affect a forced fed intake as much as an NA intake. I assume it couldnt hurt anything as long as the runners could hold the proper amount of volume to feed the actual port, but its still a debate none the less. As far as the Mani goes for the turbo i am already in the process of putting that together. Just havent decided what im going to do yet as far as exhaust port timing... I hear that 400 is the magic number on stock ports... we shall see....
105. I keep telling myself that i need to get another one anyways but its so hard to find one that i enjoy, let alone one that pays like this. So ill milk it till it ends
