Custom mounts. alter the clutch setup for the push/pull. and possibly notch the passenger fender to clear the twins... Thats the biggest things

would it be easier to just put a turbo II motor in the Fc and just turn up the boost?

gotta modify or buy a 13b-rew wiring harness, also need some sort of ECU or at least the stock REW one, but it's not really that huge of a change compared to a T2 engine, it's gonna be cheaper and definitely less of a problem down the road to just swap a t2

what all is the difference from the turbo II from just the stock n/a 13b in a Fc? do you need different mounts? or is it just sit on the same mounts? and does the trans and drive shaft all the same?

As far as i know, all the 13b's have the same mounts. The difference is where the engine sits on them. If im remembering this correctly, the FC mounts in the middle of the block, where as the FD mounts at the back of the block. But the simplistic answer is that yes, a Turbo2 swap is easier. They use the same mounts as the NA. Difference is 4 port to 6 port, ecu, harness, and turbo. Drivetrain is stronger on the T2. Transmission difference is one spline, Drive shaft has different slip yoke do to that spline difference. T2 rear end has stronger axles and a different diff. The issue with the t2 swap is series. Generally easiest to swap an S4 Turbo2 into an S4 shell and an S5 turbo2 into an S5 shell. You can put an S4 into and s5 or vice versa, but it requires more work, more wiring, and generally isnt worth it unless you were given both the car and engine for free....

honestly, I don't understand why people don't just buy the T2, after all the work you go through and the price of the swap and extra parts it's probably around the same price to just have the actual T2 car with everything correct on the car instead of having to deal with potential problems with a swapped car...

the flywheel and bellhousing is bigger on a tII. make sure if youre starting with a s4 to put an s4 engine in it. and if you have an s5 put an s5 in it yadda yadda yadda. i tried to put a s5 tII in a s4 n/a, got pissed off, sold the s5 and bought a s4 tII.
