So a friends friend.....some guy to me, is sell a 89 RX7 GXL but he rebuilt the motor and slap a turbo on the rebuilt motor...keep in mind I know nothing about rotary motors. He has a unused s4/s5 hybrid turbo..?what is that. well what it comes down to is 1500 a good price for the car with everything, I want the body for a LS2 swap but he is giving me a fuel and ignition system with both turbos and a bunch of other stuff, should I pick it up? Just wanting some input on if I can make some money back, thanks.

Basket case....what do you mean, I just dont want to pay to much for the body because that's all I want I have a LS2 ready to go I just need a tranny and the guy is about to deploy so he needs it gone or he will have to pay to store it for a year

 

you can find really nice shells for much lower, good ones can go for like $500, should check rx7club.com, sign up and check the for sale 2nd gen forum, lots of shells there...

No, find a clean shell for cheaper. Don't bother with it. Run far far away. If you are going to just swap in a v8 don't bother getting someone else project. Find a shell and start fresh.

Hay bro can you email me some picture's of the RX7 your selling? And there is nothing wrong with the interior and body? My biggest concern is rust, is there any? If you could get me some detail pictures inside, out and under that would be great I would just send my dad over to pick it up, if its what Iam looking for

 

ther is no rust at all the only rust is under the hood near the power steer lines
