hey wassup guys i have a 93 mazda protege i need help cus i wanna give it some more power but i want some advice. its a sohc 5 speed. lemme know guys thanx

if i was you i would start by doing a 1.8 bp motor

yeah thats it.it is a really good motor and can make good power.you can get the motor out of any protege LX from 90-94 or escort gt^.i made 250hp and 247twq on 7psi on a t3/t4.

Rico, if your not into engine swaping for any reason.... you could always tweak the timing, port the intake (throttle body, so on.), hi flow exhaust and throw on an adjustable cam gear (or new cam). Should make it a bit quicker and more responsive. Also those are affordable options that wont take a shit ton of $$$ or time, and that you could do yourself if you wanted to...

bp i hae a stock bp and she goes but im doin a bpt im puttin a subub turbo on it wiht bigger pistons and better rings
