Default help!!

i have a '96 ford probe but i'm posting in here cuz my understanding is that its all mazda under the hood anyway... its a 2.0 and i thought i needed a fuel pump but i put a new one in and its not doing anything, acting like its not getting power to it at all. the relays click under the hood but the pump doesnt wine, not even when its turning over. ANY IDEAS THOUGHTS at all?? Thanks Devin.

Hmmmm......... Lets start from the beginning even though you said it starts with starter fluid. Process of elimination.

1. Do you have spark ?
2. Have you replaced the water pump recently ?
3. Is your timing belt still in one peace ?
4. Have you changed your plugs, or wires recently?
5. Have you checked your Fuel pump fuse ?
6. Have you checked your main 80 or 100 fuse ?
7. Have you recently messed with your M.A.S?
8. Have you touched any of your hoses ?
9. Have you checked your fuel pump physically?
10. Did you drop the fuel tank and physically touch the fuel pump?
11. Did you remove/disconnect any of the fuel pump hoses?
12. Have you checked your distributor rotor ?
