its better than boosting on a stock ECU
I ran the SAFC when it was NA with a few mods. I wouldve run it under boost, but well, i never actually resolved all my issues from doing a few half ass things so....
There are arguments for and against the SAFC on every setup. Will it work. Absolutely. is it a good idea.. ehh.... probably not. What most people know and understand is that the SAFC will not allow you to adjust your fuel and timing maps seperately, as its just a "piggyback" which lies to your ecu. What some folks dont understand is that your stock ecu ties the fuel and ignition maps together, so ( i may have this backwards as its been a lil while since i looked into it) as you increase the fuel with the safc you are retarding timing. Its by far not the ideal setup, but it will allow the car to function under boost. It was my cheap lets see how i like boost in my beater project. For the 3 days or so i drove the car on 5 pounds i loved it

Turned up the boost. Did a little road tuning and had fun. Had 70* iat on a 85 degree day. Fuck yea

Put the car on the dyno to see where I'm at before installing the new intercooler and a/i kit. It put down 393.xx rwhp at 107* f at the shop. The intercooler was doing nothing. Oh well, I'll see what it puts out with the new parts. I'm hoping to reach my goal of 500 on a/i. This was on 93 pump gas as well.

Sweet man, at what boost level was that at? should def be able to squeeze out some more with A/I and more boost!

depending on the turbo, )which is sounds to be a decent size for what you made at that boost) if you bring it up to 22-25 with A/I you should def be around if not over 500

This saturday I put the new carpets in, fixed the peeling dash, put it back in, hooked up the harnesses for everything, now I am just re-wiring for the sound system, got new cables, after all that I have to finish trimming the final parts of the carpet and install the seats and interior plastics, this weekend it's going to pettit for tuning

Haven't driven it in a month, deiced to drive it a short trip this weekend. Blew the same damn AVCR sensor again. Another 50 dollar sensor *poof*
