( 2 days ago) installed a new yellow top, and fixed the nightmare of an electrical issue with my rx8 dash. also has anyone else swapped a dvd player in an 8 dash and had any such issues?

Well 2 nights ago i was sliding around with some friends and this damn curb jumped outta no where and bent my RF tie rod end (or so i believe, we'll find out tonight), so ill be replacing it soon. While im down there im gonna try and fix the e brake sensor since that light is always on in the dash, and i may even get around to installing the new gauge faces for the dash i bought a few months ago... and maybe the speedo cable too?

Electric fan shorted out, blew out all of my fucking fuses, melted the coolant reservoir, drained the battery, flashed my microtech, somehow caused my wiper motor to blow.

time to pull it all out, and start over.

Finally dropped the trans. Have new input shaft seal. Also bought new outer tie rod end and oil pan gasket (never knew the motor mount was in the way ). Will clean up the trans today, put the new seal in, put it all back together and add fluid. While im down there i may install the new speedo cable... Also thinking about doing intake mani work, but we'll see how tired i am after the trans
