Sorry, but not even close to a 26b, about the only things they both have in common is that they are 4 rotor motors, and they have Periphrial port housings. After that there is a BIG difference between the motors...

what's the difference ?




- Variable length intake trumpets were multi-step in the 1990 R26B, and they were continuously variable in the 1991 version. This produced a maximum torque at any RPM range.
- It had three spark plugs per rotors; they added the additional one above the two. This was called a “late trailing” plug.
- The rotor housings and side housings (plates) were hot-ceramic coated.
- The front cover was designed for dry sump oiling systems
- There is no provision for a "Distributor" in the front housing
The engine that was originally posted looks like one of the aussie dual 13b motors that they use a 20b intermediate housing and a custom made eccentric shaft.
