Default Help with Mazda

So I'm thinking of buying a 2002 Mazda 626, but it has a fewof red flags.
1. The car has 132,000 miles on it already
2. The transmission was recently replaced at 125,000
3. The car is in ATL and I am in Orlando. It is a purchase off of eBay.
4. The car is a no reserve auction and could sell for less than $2,000. The KBB on it is at least $3,000.

Being that I know absolutley NOTHING about cars, is this a good purchase? I am in need of a new car as my cadillac recently died on me. Woudl you buy this car? If I do decide to purchase, should I worry about anything mechanical?

Are Mazda's reasonable to fix? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

no - do not buy this car

the car has been driven an average of 22K miles a year
and driven so hard that they blew the transmission
probably in heavy Atlanta traffic - which is WAY worse than anything in Tampa
buy something local you can take to your regular mechanic to inspect for you
never ever buy an unfamiliar used car without putting it up on a lift first

Caveat emptor!

Lets put it this way, what is it gonna cost to get the caddy fixed in the first place? If it is less than this car, by all means fix the caddy. You will be better off in the long run...
