wonder if that was the one on ebay a few months back... if it is- he put a new 20b in it... and by new i mean factory brandnew from mazda, not rebuilt or anything, a 12K paint job, completely new interior using NOS mazda seatcovers/ interior pieces, etc... sure is nice

+1 on the styling,
but you can't see that while you're driving, and the Cosmo interior is cool^3
(plus at the point where I could afford a cosmo, rest assured there would already be a FD in my garage

^ maybe he meant australia? a few were imported there. possibly retuned to up the power from the jspecs?

A-spec being the 20B, I imagine the 13B-RE was the B-spec or something like that.
"Two engines were available, the twin turbo 13B-RE and the 20B-REW. The triple rotor 20B had 2 Liter (1962 cc) of displacement, which is quite large for a rotary powerplant. It produced 300 hp (224 kW) and 300 ft·lbf (402 N·m) with twin turbochargers. The JC series Cosmo set several firsts in Automotive history. Its 13B-RE and 20B-REW engines were the first series production twin sequential turbo systems to be offered for sale. The better known FD RX-7 didn't receive its 13B-REW engine until early 1992."
