what car do you have? is this the MX-6?
also make sure the overflow tank is about half full

Find the cap that is attached to the top of the radiator

Yes it is the Mx-6, but on every cap it say's "Coolint". one is on the Radiator, but there is a plastic one under the hood on the far right bottom the say's "Radiator Coolint".

Yikes , look at the top hose of your radiator, then follow it towards your engine. There should be a cap that connects to the hose and has a smaller hose leading to an overflow tank. Don't forget to loosen the breather screw on the radiator.

take a close look at you radiator top and bottom, those are also made of plastic usually with only the core being metal

Goto an autoparts store or order online the Haynes repair manual for this car, it should have most of the maintenance answers for you for this car.
