Post May Mazda BBQ event...

Where shall we have it? My first two choices are Anderson park an Al Lopez park. I already have a reservation @ Anderson on the 17th as a fall back, but would like to know where everyone would like to meet. Take into consideration that parks in Hillsborough county charge money for shelter reservations, Al Lopez wants anywhere between $34 - $160 for reserving their shelters.

The options are:

Anderson Park
- North Pinellas

Phillipe Park
- Mid Pinellas
Fort Desoto - South Pinellas

Al Lopez Park - Central Tampa *Cost $$$*

As for me, I wouldn't mind returning to Fort De Soto on a sunny day

Althought I think something on the Tampa side would be better! I voted fort de soto... More parking, and its really nice out there...

I Agree on desoto, its a drive but its worth it. more then enough parking, nice park, big coverd area and right on the beach.

Ft Desoto. The drive may be "long" for some of us but all in all i think that just adds up to what makes it a special occasion.

I voted for the Fort as well. The drive isn't all that bad and gives some of us a chance to get a nice caravan going. I'd also add that if we could get the shelter right next to the water, that would be even better. I've been to Al Lopez before and I've never really liked it there.
