"Speed" versions... Miata?

Interesting stuff.
Next question: Anyone know where to get them (miatas of any type) inexpensively?
I'm from the South-north-allover tampa area and I'll be willing to drive out 100-200 miles just to get one, but not much further than that.
Pricerange is about 3k for one that will be working ENOUGH to be driveable back home.
If some of you miata guys know of a fellow miata driver willing to sell for that amount in the future, not within the next few months, let me know! (PMs help

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

Wow, I thought for sure they are only '04s. I dunno why I was thinking 18s, but I just know everytime I see one I think, damn those wheels are too big for that car. I think your friend with the LS6 Miata may be the guy I've heard about. I got my LS2 from a guy named Brian that parts out LSx wrecked cars, and he said he knows a guy that builds LSx Miatas. Gotta be the same guy if he's local.
