Im all for it! There was a rotary engine forum for a while but it was killed due to inactivity..

I posted about this a while ago (seems to have been deleted). There were 4 or 5 RX-7s and I think there are 4 or 5 other Mazdas here too.

Kind of strange that they dont Mazda forum for so long it was a sports car company..

Lets hope the Mazda scene doesnt REALLY blow up. Id like a new engine but not right now

Can I be a Mazda Moderator??

Yea had hoped to get a little more response out of this post but hey one is better than none. I just bought a 2001 Protege ES and I think that this and the new rx-8 coming out will really set this end of the market off.

One of my friends had a 95 626 V6 (bought it new still in high school!). We only ran once though and that was versus my 87 RX-7 n/a. I jumped about half a car on the start and we were even up to about 70 or so when I finally pulled a little (auto vs. 5 speed maybe?). That car was surprising strong!

With a little work that car could have been a great sleeper. It was such a nice ride too...

Unfortunately I do not have a V6 although I do have a 5 speed. I do have plans on dropping a V6 motor in and having a turbo or supercharger system installed to put me up to about 280 to 290 horsepower. I think it is the perfect sleeper car!
