did it bolt rite in or is it just sitting in there... I have a mkIII and Im looking to change the seats. I would much rather have the miata seats just because of the weight.

because at 6' and 230 pounds I need all the compressed seatage I can find in the car

 

I'm surprised the door would shut. Is your head hitting the top? Try putting a helmet on? My brother just put some JDM NA seats in his NB and he loves them. They're like a blue velvet material, not the tweed stuff we got in the states.

on a side note is your steering wheel cover there because the finish is crumbling? I ask because mine is.
I may just get an aftermarket wheel and swap the stock one back in on inspection day (VA requires airbag equiped wheel if that's what the car came with)
Also I've "heard" that RX-8 seats fit nice.

 

Yes, its seen better days; that cover used to be black. I havent looked underneath since. A completely different, non-airbag, not hideous wheel would be preferable, but I'm broke ass poor and its not any more functional than the one I have. As such, its extremely low on my priorities
