Heres the thing Tito. You have a FB correct? I have had 7 of them Yes they are cappable of 150,00 miles. Hell I have seen 200.000 plus miles. But he posted about buying a fd. You know the car that is TURBO! They tend to not last plus 80,000 miles. You and I both know that. Non turbo rx7's have a better chance seeing that they are not under boost. Almost every fd that is on the autotrader has had a reman, or rebuilt motor installed. I am giving him the facts! Period!

Whatever. Let's not get off topic and start another rotary vs piston war. Buy the fd and go by the guidelines that sharingan 19 put up and you should be good.

ROTARY POWER FTW.

Well I appreciate all the information, but im a little disappointed to hear that buying a more expensive more exotic car then a DSM such as the 3rd gen RX-7 will offer me less reliability. But to be completeley honest I just dont want to turn to hondas. That will be the last thing I want to do. Thats why I got into DSMs in the first place. Yes I should have dropped a 6-bolt engine in the eclipse and there wasnt a moment I didnt think of that option. And lets all face it. Driving an automatic can get boring quickly just as fast as driving a naturally aspirated car, thats why I would preffer a turbo car. And though I know absolutley nothing about rotary/wankel engines, i am definitley going to look into how they work. Im saving up to get another car and it will most likeley be my dd so I guess ill see which car is best.

Best of luck to you.

As long as you do your research and you know what you're getting into you'll be fine, and that sounds like what you're doing.
