hey my friend has a 93 or 95 not sure rx7 the twin turbo one soposely all it needs is apex seals the body is in pretty good shape n stuff nice car he only wants like 3500 for it u think its worth it... everyone told me get it fix it make it look nice an u can sell it for at least 10 is it true.. dont know to much about rotarys n stuff im more dsm person...but yeah how much is it for apex seals n who does it around here...any info would help

buy it and put a jdm motor in it for like 2k+3500= 5500 and sell it for 10k. easy money.

 

you can get it rebuilt for 3.5.... then sell it for a alot more then that... or you can drop an ls1 in it and sell it for 25k... thats what they seem to be going for these days ayways.. we need more info on the car though

 

luck. Dont wast your time. A rebuild could be expensive, and depending on the overall condition of the car you might get 8-10,000 if lucky. When someone says 'ALL IT NEEDS IS SEALS ' usally doesnt know the half of it. There is many diffrent variations why the car isnt running, or running correctly. Definetly have a true mazda mechanic that knows what they are doing take a look at it. My friend it may just have a bad hose thats causing a leak, bad plugs, turbo pipe could be lose, or many other reasons. Everybody is always to quick to assume that their rotary needs seals and then goes to a reliable honest mazda tech only to find what others said a cost for a new engine would be, is only something else that is a cheap fix. If you really want this car for yourself, its a nice collectors car. If you want this car for profit dont get it. go buy your dsm's and make one impressive and sell that. peace

traders, y would u put a piston engine in a car thats perfect. if you've got a problem with a rotary and u cant fix it then sell it to someone who is willing to do it. dont ruin a great car.
