need help on my rx8.....
alright guys just bought a GREDDY TURBO KIT for my 2004 mazda rx8...i know it gonna add quite a bit of horsepower and torque... and i was gonna get an type r bov..and an hks...air intake..and a greddy sp2 exhaust system...which should make my car run low 13's (mayb not)but i hope.. but need help because i wanna get my car faster and dont know what else 2 do..plz help?

No offense but if your spending all that money just to hit low 13's sell it and get a 7. Just my opinion.

Is it an auto or manual?
Might want to make sure the motor is solid first if it's an auto. I've replaced alot of '04 engines lately
. Biggest problem, lack of oil changes/proper oil levels, and cheap gas, mixed with soccer mom drivers that don't mash the pedal down
Those sides seals carbon up real quick and you'll lose compression when the engine is hot making the car stall. The auto's will stall much more often than the manuals since the manuals have a better tune with the extra injectors and all.
I just had to send an 04 out yesterday, poor lady has to drive her car like that because she couldn't afford to replace the engine
runs about $3k for a remanufactured engine, obviously the junkyards aren't an option .

i thought this forum is intended to help out people. i'm disappointed.
if he just want to run low 13's that's his perogative. i'm sure its way capable but tooting about the rx-7 when its cleary not the intent of the thread is fucking rediculous.
