All mechanics please help ASAP
i just recently purchased an 88' rx7 and today i replaced the clutch and the slave cylinder. My problem though is that now the car idles at 3000 rpms and when i accelerate the shift light turns on at 3200 and i cannot accelerate past 4000 rpms what the car does is similar to when you hit a rev limiter. I NEED HELP ASAP SO IF YOU KNOW WHAT IT COULD BE PLEASE HELP THANKS SCARFACE_613
Shit thats a Good one..haha. I have dropped my tranny 4 times and have never heard of a problem like that. Good luck man

Is it possible you are in some sort of limp mode? I know 3rd Gen's do something similar to what you described when in their limp mode. Good Luck!

No he has a serious 4 only the S5 and S6 have a electronic oiling system for going into limp mode.
