Default I need some help with my RX-7!!!

I was talking to some people and they said that there are other places and people that work on RX-7's. I am in the process of converting my carborated RX-7 back to fuel injection. I know that I'm losing HP but I just want the stock stuff back in. I talk to Jeff at Mazsport and their price was a little high, I was wondering if there was any where else to go or if there was someone who wanted to make a couple hundred helping me fix my car. I would like to learn more about these pocket rockets. I have a GXL 1989 RX-7, and I have all the parts to convert it back to FI but no clue what I'm doing. I really need to get me car back on the road so any info would help me.

Thanks for reading!!!

is the wiring harness still in tact? they might have taken out the computer too... have you considered leaving it the way it is? that is ofcourse, if its running. just going along the lines of if it isnt' broke, don't fix it.

Index of /main/factory_service_manual/1989_1991

there is a pdf version of a factory service manual, will tell you how to install the intake manifold and all other parts that go on as if it was stock, but dissassembled. anyway, where do you live? if you're close by, i could give it a shot trying to put it back together. PM me, good luck man

Everything is still there. There are some lines like the vaccum, oil, and fuel lines that I don't know what to do with.

Now I have another problem, I ordered a exhaust system from HKS and the sent me an email saying it's out of stock and will take up to two months before they ship it out. It wouldn't make any sense for me to tow the car there and get fixed without the exhaust system on the car.

Is there anyone that has a S5 that would be willing to come over to my house and let me use there car as a model so I can get mine back together. I have the Haynes book but sometime its hard to understand.

Thanks for reading!!!

I was told that the car has a bridge port job on it and that's why it had the Holly carb on it. Well, I don't know if you know this but you can't drift with a carb on your motor. I took my car to Maztech and they did the swap and it turns out that there wasn't a port job done to the car. The car runs great and $800 later I'm happy. The car wouldn't run with the fuel injection system on the car if it had a bridge port job on it. If there is a Rotary meet soon I would like to go so someone let me know.

Thanks Jeff for all the great work!!!!

Maztech is the way to go!

dont go to ar repair on waters. You will get parts taken. Go to Jeffs at Maztech. He is a real rotary operator, and HONEST. He doesnt just sit around and think of ways to make the 1/8th mile times faster. He thinks of ways of helping customers keep their cars alive
