This is a great meet. We usually have one once a month so that all RX8 members can meet from other cities. All Mazdas are welcome to join! This will be a small and relaxed meet. We are expecting around 30-40 cars.

Mazda will be providing lunch and two technicians for any assistance or questions. There is a detail station you can use at Mazda if you would like to clean the bugs off. They will be giving some stuff away.

Also, FYI and all the time, if you call Mario you can get the discounted clay bar and wax for $49. Just remember to mention the club to get that price. They are open for service on Saturdays. Mario will not void your warranty if you have mods.

Driving Directions: Take 275 N or 75N until the two meet. Take exit 279 which is the exit after Bruce B Downs which is state road 54. Take a left (west) after exiting and go under 75. Mazda is down the road on the left.....

^I didn't see any CYM 7s... When did you get there?

 

Taking her to the shop next week as I am having a terrible idle issue, hence she is pretty much unstreetable as I dont want to practice left foot braking to keep her from stalling. I was out in my plain jane 626 from 9:15 to 10:30. Next meet I attend the CYM will be out (Hopefully!). Of course, this is pending that nothing breaks at sebring in two weeks

 

Whens the next one?

 

Organize it Eric. Seriously. Pick a date a month or 2 or 3 or so in advanced. Talk with the owner (or park, or restaurant or whatever) of where ever you want to meet. Then post up here asking everyone to attend. In your post, let everyone know the date, time and place. For example, let us know that you reserved a pavilion and that we will have a bbq. Ask for help with food and drinks and start a sign up sheet for who will bring what foods. Or, let us know what restaurant. After speaking with someone today who has organized many events, I understand why people get tired of arranging events again and again and again...IT'S TIRING, but oh so worth it. However the worth begins to fade when help is nonexistent. I would arrange something myself if I were not so damn busy.

P.S. With enough notice, I will be there. With enough notice, I will bring food. The last cookout I went to (Holy cow was it really 2004?!) many TR Mazda Tech people showed and we all brought food and we all enjoyed each others company and cars. Proteges, 323's, Mx3's, and Rx7's came.
