thats not really an "idle screw" liike in a carbed car, its a throttle posistion sensor adjustment screw. Go on rx7club.com, and find out how to adjust it properly, as i own a 1st gen, and dont have to deal with it. But i recall needing a test light that you make yourself, pretty simple, all you need is a few wires & like 2 led builbs...any way should all be on rxyclub.

you're missing the screw and the spring. you dont really ABSOLUTELY need the small lights to adjust it. when you get the screw and the spring, turn on the car on and turn on the screw untill it stops fluctuating rpms. it wont be 100 percent accurate like with the lights but it will quick fix the rpm problem. you're emissions pump has been taken off so look around there for any leaks. it also looks like you have and aftermaket cone air filter so you might have to put that into consideration.

oh and FYI almost ALL 2nd gen rx7s have this problem and even after you have adjusted it it will do it to you every now and then.
