Default Hello Mazda Guys

Just wanted to say hi to the mazda people out there, just became the owner of my first mazda and thought id introduce my self. Just bought a '86 B2000 pickup Its kind of a DD/small project. Anybody know anything about these trucks? Its slower than balls but its actually kinda fun to drive. Needs some work here and there but it runs alright and drives so i cant complain if it only cost $150. Well i look forward to hearing from you guys, ttyl.

A TII motor is called a 13bt. It is a single turbo, 1.3L, 4port rotary engine that comes in the 87-91 rx7 turboII models.

OOOOHHH, i knew that too, just had a brain fart i guess. That would be an awesome swap but how complicated is it? anybody ever done it? Any custom fabrication needed? How hard to find/expensive is a TII motor and tranny?

I picked up a 13bt engine and 5speed tranny for $650+shipping. It's kinda like the lottery when ordering jspec rotaries. It can either have good seals and last OR the seals can be shot from sitting and it will need to be rebuilt right off the bat (I say rebuild it anyway)

Well, i finally figured out why the truck was soooo damn slow, it was only running on 2 cyliders . Put new plugs in and it was running better but backfireing like a bitch. Started playing around with the wires and figured out i accidently crossed 2 of them so i put them the right way and the shit runs sooo much better, and its actually kinda quick now. Begining to like this little mazda
