Default Need help with 94 MX-6

I'm posting this for my brother....

I have a problem with my 94 mx6, the AC buttons which control where the air blows through (vents, windshield or floor) won't change. It just blows through the winidshield. What can this be? The control buttons or the blower? Can anyone help.

sounds like a vaccum leak. check all your vaccum hoses going from the engine compartment to the passenger cabin. more than likely you will find a cut or deteriorated vac line. dont know about Mazdas but at Ford it is the black vac line.
