Default Should I go Mazda?

I have a Z now, but the 3rd gen RX-7 has always been my favorite car, I want another fun sports car, and I think the 7 could be one, I want to ask around how reliable are they, is it worth it to buy one...I know all cars will have problems one time or another, but some tend to have a lot...do you guys recommend me to get one..?

FD's are nice cars. If you were to get one make sure you have a trusted mechanic you can go to, if not just do all the work yourself, it's as easy as breathing. And the reliability is going to depend on how good the care was taken care of before you, and how good of care you do with it.

The FD is probably the least reliable of the RX7's But like FC3CTurbo said, it's all in how you take care of them.

FD = FTL!!! that car had more electrical and selonoid issues than Jenna Jameson has had sex. unless yopu have a true rotary man around to show you the way and help you when it kicks you square in the nuts, don't do it. go for the 2nd gen. much easier to work on and easier to learn about, and lots cheaper too. thats my $3.88.

If it's your frist Rx7 just go 2nd gen..The 3rd gen are a PIA mine hasnt moved for about 2 months now b/c my injectors wont stop flowing when i turn the acc on and there are about 12 other problems i have to take care of before that..Its a nice car but just not nice on the wallet when it breaks..
