depends how much you got to invest in it. a complete swap for a 13bt is going to run from 1.5-3k when done correctly. a 13b-re or rew is going to run double that.

and please do it right the 1st time. start reading about it on
www.rx7club.com
fc3spro.com
www.teamfc3s.org

just start searching.

Id say a swap would be more than what he posted.Just cause im picky and wouldnt put in a used engine into a car when I can mess with it while its out.

Think about all of the other "bolt on" upgrades you can do to it also..

If this is your first time with a rotary vehicle, try not to go too crazy. the rotary can be very awesome, but it can also screw you over if you don't know the principles. it's a "Bratty" engine and the car is almost 20 years old, so make sure you take the time to learn about all its idiosyncrasies.

the 13b-re is still an FD year engine. you want a 13bt.

Most people don't know that the cosmo 13b re requires rebuild, porting, and different rotor housings (or the exhaust sleeves swapped with tII or fd ones) to make anything worth while. So it would be much more economical to go with the 13bt in my opinion, and you can still get some serious power out of it.
