This is an awesome idea and something that I've wanted to do, just because of the statement above. So many people go the other way, so why not put a rotary in a 240? Next is a 3 rotor in a supra!

Anything is possible, using at 2nd gen 13bt the motor mounts will be around the same place as the stock SR mounts. It all depends on how much you want to spend and how very many hours you want to put into it. I have never heard of it being done before. It will be the best of both worlds, errr I mean one world....rotary engines... heh

I have got motors from Ricky's down in Miami and have had pretty good luck with them so far. www.raceup.com is the website.

NOOOO!! Rickys is complete garbage. You've gotten lucky when you've dealed with him. My SR buddy has had so many headaches with that guy. He said he comp/leak tests those motors when he doesn't. His motor was missing head bolts, like WTF. And then he tried not refunding his money cause he said my friend removed bolts for it. Ive heard from a couple people in Miami that have had the same exact problem, that guy will sell a motor that is seized if he gets the chance, hes a real bitch.

Well, I haven't dealed with him in while, but yeah I might have gotten lucky. It seems that whenever you get something used from Japan you're rolling the dice. Any other places you recommend?

Japan Star Motor. They are from Canada, but their motors are located in Alabama. I have gotten 3 13bts from them, $1050 for 13bt longblock/tranny s4 or s5. It has been 1 1/2years since I've gotten a motor from them so I dont' know if they are still in business. All the motors were in good condition, mid 90's compression on all of them, good coolant seals. Motors were still full of oil along with trannys when I got them And totally sealed up.
