Does anyone know where I could find info on how to take my CD player out of the 626? It's broken (wont play CD's) so I want to change it (I have another one lying around)..but I cannot get it out for the world. It's a 1998 Mazda 626 ES. I've tried to pry it out of there, unplug the wires from the back and pull. I cannot get the woodgrain stuff to budge, and I don't want to crack it.

Any ideas?

It is a pain in the ass, I you have to remove the whole Plastic dash area and take the thing out below the radio to get back there, Its hard and you should probly just take it to best buy, It took me like 5 hours to get that shit off and finally get my new one installed in my old car.

 

I fixed it. Hours of jamming my fingers, hitting my arm on the gearshift...but I got it.
