I leave for the military in a few months. I have two for sale. One for 700 that runs, stock n/a and one that doesn't run. did a motor swap in it and cant get it to friggin run. It's been down for 2 years now just sitting in the back of my cuz's shop. I don't have time to work on it cause I don't go to the shop anymore, Im too busy with personal life, and other crap. Ill give that one away for $600. or I'll give you both for $1200. I have to get rid of 4 friggin cars by july.

How high is the redline? or how high does it go before it rev-limits?
The stock redline before 1989 on NA and turbos is 7000RPM.
series 5's have lighter rotors then the older ones, the NA's went up to 8000RPM, i think the turbos were still 7000 though.
Anybody got a S5 turbo II who can verify this?
As for the rev-limit, I know S5's are someplace upwards of 8500RPM and S4's don't have a rev-limiter. most 1st gens use a distributor ignition, thus no rev limit.
I dunno about 3rd gens.
Then theres the renesis motor from the rx8 - 9000rpm, don't know where the limiter is.
With any of them it's not going to matter unless you've got it ported to make power up high.
