Default Turbocharger...

I'm looking for a S4 Turbocharge (87). Mines smoking so its time for a rebuild or swap. I spoke with Mazsport and Maztech and got estimates from them. Mazda discontinued carrying refab units.

Are there any shops around here that anyone here trusts to rebuild a turbocharger, or does anyone have a S4 turbo lying around from a blown motor?

I have one with 10K on it, but the exhaust wheel is chewed from an Apex Seal going through it.

It's $278 rebuilt through turbocity.com, you have to pay the $14 there and back for the turbo shipping.

You can use the S5 turbo on the S4 block without any problems. (at least from what i've read on rx7club.com) do some searching on there, you'll find it. The S5 doesnt have the twin-scroll actuator thingy though

on the block yes, on the manifold no. the s4 and s5 have different manifold patterns.
