my miata held a 5th gear burnout in the rain. thanks to the vlsd. any one else have fun driving in the rain with these cars?

 

yep, its always quite the fun.

just wait until you turbo it, then you can almost do the same when its dry out lol

 

I've slid sideways for a good 400ft. going straight one time getting on the highway while raining, Ofcourse it was all planned.

And I have an FD torsen lsd installed.

 

I dont own a Miata,but the welded diff is fun,when you want it to be..

I think Richmond actually makes different ring gears for the rear. I am also pretty sure they are the same ones as the S2000's are using too.

what gear ratio are you looking for?

 

mid 4's or higher into 5's I didnt know richmond sold 7in

they make a 4.57 gear for the 7" thanks to those S2k guys

Mazda race gears are little cheaper.
So what do the S2000 come with stock (ratio) wise.If they are better than my stock,it might be better to pick up a used set..
