stock S2000 gear I think is 4.1

you can get miata rears with 4.3, 4.1, 3.9 pretty easily depending on year of car and transmission

okay, okay.

With the proper application of the throttle, my car will go sideways, not that it is difficult. My car has too much grip and not enough hp to spin the tires in the dry after the 1-2 shift. I do like to spin the tires a bit in the rain, though.

my 00' rolla can't spin the tires in the rain It's one of those VVT-I pos's / good gas mileage but slow as dog balls. My friend use to have a miata, someone off this forum bought it but it would spin the shit out of the 17" 205's in the dry without any problems at all. It was a 91'

Don't you have to replace the pinion thingy too? I thought miata's had the same size ring gear as the NA FC's do.
