Do they actually work for bringing in outside air?

I got hooked up with one for my FC from Oldskool.
Never been painted,needs very minor repair.. i did clean off the 10 yr tree mold off of it..Heres pics..

will it look good with a TII hood?Vent looks almost the same,but do they actually work is the question..

the vent is so little.

 

Any fresh air inside there is good, I dought its going to bring TONS of air, but im sure it will bring a little fresh air and maybe even more depending on how fast your going.

sorry but your wrong, like someone already said, any fresh air is better then no air, it does alot more then removing the FTP lens. I personally don't like them, it reminds me of those civics with actual metal wing on the front of their hood.
