Guys Do Not Allow No One To Use Your Tools, Equiptment Or Materials (cars?) Without Your Supervision.

Why? Omg
People Will Never Take Care Of Your Tools As Good As Yourself.

Example: About A Month Ago A Few "friends" Asked To Borrow My Engine Lift And I Said Sure I Am Not Using It. Well I Have Been Calling This Guys For About 2-3 Weeks To Bring It Back And Nothing.
When I See Them They Gave Me Nothing But Excuses And Promises "i Ll Bring It Tomorrow". Well I Went And Borrowed Another One From A Friends Shop (2 Days And Then Took It Back)

I Got My Engine Lift Friday Nigth. Taken All Apart, On Saturday When We Went To Take Out A Few Motor And Do A Swap The Lift Was Broken. I Called The Guys And One Says I Didnt Use It (the One That Asked For It) And The Other Said He Didnt Break It. No Money, No Offers To Fix, To Offers To Help Find Another One. Well That Is That. Lift Still Broken. No One Did It.

Next Time They Ask For The Lift I Am Coming Out With A Pipe And Chain And A Jar Of Bengay.

Try having a friend take some of your specialty tools up north with him because he forgot he had them when he moved

I loaned my 2 spark plug sockets, 2 extensions, a wobble piece, and ratchet to a coworker.

Got it back the next week, as promised. Then again, #1 it's hard to break (I broke a ratchet today, coincidentally enough) and #2 he can afford to buy about 100,000 to replace it if he broke it.

 

Yikes tools leave my garage???....ha thats why if you work in any mech. garage every snap on case has some sort of sticker with some slogan that pretty much says "get your own tools"...they grow legs you know
