As for the body kit it is getting very hard to find kits that someone is willing to sell. The thing about the rotary community is when you get something of value you tend to hold on to it, even though your not using it. I would luv to get ahold of the Mariah NACA hood with the two vents in the center. But for $840 I think I will hold out on that. The biggest thing is be patient and keep searching something will come up.
Thats the car I traded 2 10in speakers in a box for,The night I got it,I had to limp it home,it heated up a little,and had a electrical problem.
I fixed all that in the few days after I got it.Then the car idled like crap.So i djusted air/fuel/timing/idle all by stock specs.. and the car had no power..
So I set up the car almost the same way I would set up a Holley.900-1000 rpm idle.Timing is good,only thing I dont like is when I get on it hard at the top of 2nd and 3rd.I starves for fuel.Im going to drop my Holley in,but I dont know what to do with the return line.
Vern,I know of someone locally that has the hood..BUT he wont sell just parts seperate..
SO... if you like the hood,Ill get the rest of the kit.but keep in mind a new kit like on the red car is like 6xx.-700.
