i just found out from my wife that the car is smoking baddddd. She turned it on at the Inpound lot and rigth off the back it started smoking.

The oil ligth was on.

On saturday, the car was running awesome. Yes it always smokes on high RPMs but that has always happened since I can go to like 9500 RMPS but never smoked while stopped at a light or anything.

Wondering do the tow people race or beat on the cars while there? Is there anything I can do to confront them? Has this happened to anyone before?

I called them a few times before I picked it up and they knew exactly what rx7 I was talking about. It was weird before but now it may be a coincedence..

what to do..............please give me some good advice before i burn that place down.

Check the paperwork if the tow truck driver wrote down the mileage of the car prior to towing (cross your fingers). Check to see if it matches your od. Consult with a lawyer...if the tow truck company is under contract with the police, maybe you have a case.

 

since gas prices are so high, ill go and fill up their gas tank................... with urine!!

 

holy crap im sorry to hear that. id be mad as hell. Ive seen tow truck drivers handle my cars and i was mad as hell. He droped my sentra off the lift when he turned the corner.

 

i am going to check to see if it smokes some more. If it is I will open the engine on Sunday and do a refresh change apex seals, oil control rings and maybe do a bit more on my street port. I will be back on the car by monday night. Hopefully.

 

Nothing much you can do, your word against theres. I don't think they are regulated in any way.

 

Depends on how it was towed. If it was towed with a flat bead then his milage should be the same. If it was towed with the back wheels running, then would be hard to have a case on that. Just my opinion. Hope things work out for you Bro. That sucks. I know one tow company and a tow truck guy that doesn't care what happend to the car as long as they get paid. I hate people like that.
