when i pulled my manifolds off, i found that one of the pins/tabs had broken off the thermosensor on the back of the plenum... does anyone happen to have a spare sensor that i might-could take off their hands?

btw, this is an S5 NA.

I Dont Know What Sensor You Are Talking About But I Am Sure I Have It.

 

its the sensor labeled (3), located on the Intake plenum chamber, near the firewall. follow the clutch slave line from the firewall, and it runs right next to the sensor. its either a 10mm or 12mm to remove it.

 

^Hey dude, I have a spare one from my s4na UIM, do you think it is the same? I'll ship it to you if you can confirm that it indeed is the same.

 

i cant confirm conclusivly that they are the same, but i know there are alot of other sensors that carry over from S4 to S5, like coolant temp, pressure, level, etc.

how much do you think you want for the sensor? if we both happen to make it out to the rotary meet, maybe i can pick it up from you and change it there before we head out.

 

^sorry, I'm not going to the rotary meet. I got the rear suspension out to do some work on it, not going to have parts in time to make it + I have to work. Find out if it will work and I'll sell it to you.
