It prob goes by Quarters of the year. as in the A is the first Quarter of the year January through June. and the B is for the second Quarter of the year July through December. Whoever bought one from Jan-june got an A and whoever bought one from July through December prob got a B. Dunno just making a wild guess.

That makes sense. I looked it up on google and cannot find anything on this so it's preety much up to the rotary guru's to find out for sure.
