Where would you get a "turbo kit"
Just do a complete JDM Turbo swap..

okay, the jdm swap is a good idea, but the engine that you get might b fucked. If you plan on getting a shop to install it then you are covered by their "broken engine warranty". If you put it in yourself I can guarantee the place you the engine from won't honor your warranty. I got a jspec engine/tranny 1150 shipped to my house, Dropped the engine in, hooked everything up started the car, runs awesome, 92 compression all around with a reciprocating engine compression gauge. The turbo started to go, so I will be rebuilding that $300 from turbocity. The o-rings can b fucked though, from sitting years and years open to the elements in a japanese junkyard. Get a 13bt core, rebuild it and you could have a fresh engine.

I would think the important question for you would be "what do you want to do with the car?"

Drag? Drift? Daily? All? NA rotaries don't make the power but they sound insane with NA mods and can be more reliable...

why boost it? Slap a Weber 48IDA on it, a free flowing dual exhaust (a la Racing Beat "Road Race" system), maybe a nice shot of spray, and you're set for all the power you'll need, and you can drive it everyday, for 300K miles.

Yeah... and the only ones that gave me the "oh shit" factor were turbo'ed first gens, and single-turbo'ed third gens. FC's feel too heavy. Maybe I'm biased.

The second gen you rode in mustn't had that much power. If second gens are so heavy, why would he have enough power if you only slapped a carb and freeflowing exhaust. But them 13bt FB's, they'll hit in the 13's with a stock TII setup

I Think You Should Slap In A 3rd Gen Motor. Fc3.org Have The Motor Mount To Slap That Engine Rigth In. Leave It Factory With The Exhaust And Intake You Will Be At 300-325 Hp. I Am Working On One Rigth Now. Used Turbo Ii Tranny.
