That place where you did that swap, did you rented it? I was just wondering because it says to the public on top.

 

Rotaries can make awesome power as I'm sure everyone knows, it just takes the aid of a good port job and a nice turbo. Then the haltech,ebc,intercooler etc. runs even more.

 

I seen a few piss-ton powered RX7s at the tracks,and I can say what a waste.. I havent seen 1 RX7 piston power,run ungodly times,that you cant run with a Rotary..

Piston powered RX7s are like steroids,

You can keep shooting your self up,and might be big,

But your balls are still small ..

not a bad idea but it would never sound as good as a full bridge 9500 redline. My buddy has a 96' s-10 with a built 84 corvette block and it was pulling hard away from my buddies 5.0 at 135. It's crazy smoking the tires doing 65.

 

Yea I understand that you can have a STock car or whatever at 300+hp but what is the Friggin point in putting it in an RX-7 just keep it in that other car the motor came from. an RX-7 is a very Rare car. There is no other car like it. What makes it differn't is that it's a rotary engine. Make power with a rotary motor instead of a piston motor. Its 1 vs all. That is what makes that car unique. You can make any rotary powered car Just as fast or faster then a piston car. My uncle used to have an RX-3 in the 70's and he would smoke the Living hell out of Camaro's, mustangs, firebirds, trans-ams all day long. And it wasnt no Piston motor. On top of that it wasnt even a 13b. It was a 1.1l a.k.a 12a.

Trust me, I hate the idea of any engine in any rx series than a rotary. His motor cost 5k to build which is just as much as a 350hp turbo rotary, which sounds way better and revs as smooth as glass.
