hey whats up guys...I saw a car this other day and it was a mazda protege turbo...ive never seen this car anywhere before....so i look online to see if there's any online for sale...no luck....i've been meaning to get rid of my 97 gst for something a little newer and with turbo and i think thats the car i want...is this car like super rare or something cause i cant find one anywhere..any info on this car i would really appreciate it thanks...

 

you are talking about the MAZDASPEED Protege......those are stock with turbo....like a GLI or WRX.....not sure if you'll find any at a dealer but i have a friend who is selling his......plus you could check out www.msprotege.com

Mazda Protege turbos. there are plenty models depends on what year you want

They have Earlier model proteges also known as 323's which come with a GTX motor which are turbos, but those are very very rare. Or they have the Newer models like 00 and higher. They have the Mazda Protege MP3 model which they stopped producing but they still have the Mazda Protege Mazdaspeed version. Both come with turbos. I also heard their going to make a Protege5 turbo. Not sure on that though.

I'm pretty sure the mp3 didn't come with a turbocharged motor. That was only the Mazdaspeed Protege.

 

The MazdaSpeed Protege is just a stock protege with a Greddy turbo kit, suspension, and a little better styling, the internals and head are identical. Look around, I saw one in the Lakeland paper the other day for 14k with less than 30,000 miles on it.
