Default 88 GTU Problem Also Aluminum Motor Mounts WTF ??? " Read last page "

I have an 88 GTU... Problem is after removing the Pollution pump I only have two belts now on the car. The power steering and the Alternator. After removing the Pollution pump belt and the pump, The motor after revving it to 2500rpms it makes a Grinding noise like if your scratching your nails on the CHalkboard. I removed the belt for the power steering pump thinking that was the problem but it still continues, I also removed the alternator belt and played with the alternator but i dont hear the noise comming from there, Any suggestions what it could be ? I am thinking its the water pump, but the car is not over heating, and the water is circulating. Also its a new water pump but the down size the car has been sitting for a year, but i start it once in a while and let it run for like 5-15 minutes.
Suggestions please......

Checked the usual to make sure it's not the tranny/clutch/TOB/etc?
My throwout bearing made that noise

when you took the alt belt off did you turn the water pump and see if it turns smoothly?

um when u remove the air/polution pump the water pump pulley slips a lil all u gota get is a belt small enough to pry it in between the water pump and the main pulley. do dat maybe datll elliminate the noise. if you want the exact size and number of the belt ask rotary budha i beleive he has that setup in his fc.

That belt set up,is only for the water pump,You will also get get alt slippage..
Get the dual groove alt pulley..

When you rev it,does it get louder, you cant tell if its in the tranny or the engine?

It was the Belt, waterpump. The waterpump seized, after that the alternator belt busted in a zillion pieces, after that no water was curculating, so the Radiator busted on the top tank. So if any1 has a spare Radiator let me know. Im in desprate need of a radiator, its my daily driver. I need a RADIATOR A.S.A.P

I dont know how you can call BS,if you havent experianced it.. I have, and this is why I now run smaller belts on all my alts, cause the stretch like a bitch, and dual pulley for the alt helps the slippage,
