Some shops, and people will tell you porting a 6 port is not worth it.
You will get a increase of HP over stock, but dont expect big numbers.

Theres alot of people in the area who do porting,Yes a few shops also..

Full rebuild and porting your looking around $1300-$1600. start to finish
You ready?

Also what is CNC apex seals?

if its not turbo, or unless you are planning on running a lot of nitrous or something DO NOT put 3mm apex seals in it. you dont need them if you are NA. i dont even like them on turbo cars. they lower your redline because they are so heavy, and they will jump on the housing. unless that is you plan on spending almost $2000 on ceramic ones.

If you want to make a good decision, step up to some 2peice 2mm AVIATION SEALS. about 300 for a set. also, porting is worth it. i have a fairly large street port with minimal overlap and i saw massive gains with my T66. Look at ISC Racing services website. they do very nice porting for a resonable price.
how good are the seals from RX7.com (3 or 2) does any one know and where can u get ceramics from....i was going to do 3mm cause im going to rebuild a turbo 2 with a small shot of nitrous to put into my na or im going to do a 20b-rew if i can get my hands on the wire harness and computer to go with it (ive already researched all the mounting and instilation)
were can you get the 2 pieace ones and why are they so much better and is ISC Racing local or will i have to ship the motor out?

Hey Hey....play nice ive owned this for half the time i owned the eclipse and i have yet to have to fix anything *knock on wood* the only thing wrong is the seal on the a/c compressor is very slowly leaking freeon and i had to do an oil change and atleast now i can slide around turns....

isc is located in winter haven. 3mm seals are thick hunks of junk. hurley seals held to 54 psi!!!! on their track car. i use aviation seals and they are wonderfull. thinkk of it this way... a thicker seal is going to hold more heat and dissipate it less, its going to increase chatter on the housings, unless the rotors are well balanced-it won't be able to hit as high of revs or the duration of a high rev. go to www.hurleyrotary.com or the aviation seal website.
