Default Mazda RX-8 Aftermarket Clutch and local shop to install it

have a friend with an RX-8 and about 20k miles on it...Mazda won't replace the clutch under warranty even though the car hasn't been driven hard at all...

Since I know very little about Mazdas or their shops... (as you can see by the sig I'm a domestic guy)...just trying to help a friend out...

Any recommendation on the type of clutch to buy for the RX-8 or where to buy it and have it installed locally?

The car has NO mods at all.....maybe a few bolt ons in the future but nothing crazy....

You could possibly take it over to lakeland auto mall and have it replaced. I think you may need to teach your friend how to drive that 6 speed or something, however. We NEVER and I mean NEVER have problems with the MTX clutches etc. We only have problems with people and the AutoSticks because Mazda thought it would be great to incorporate a paddle shifter on an automatic. The ATX's usually fade at about 18,000 miles with moderate to hard driving. The MTX's have no problems whatsoever that we have seen.
